Cookie policy

Our approach

We only use the cookies and device storage the service needs, plus a few optional preferences you can switch on. No advertising, analytics, tracking or third-party cookies.

Strictly necessary (always on)

• __Host-st_session: keeps you signed in. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax. 30 days.
• st_signed_in: a non-secret flag so pages know you are signed in. 30 days.
• __Host-st_oauth: protects Sign in with Google against forged logins. 10 minutes.
• __Host-st_yt_oauth: protects connecting your YouTube channel against forged requests. 10 minutes.
• st_consent: remembers your cookie choice. 6 months.
• cf_clearance: set by Cloudflare, which protects the site, only after it shows you a security check, to remember that you passed. Usually 30 minutes.

Preferences (only with your consent)

• studio_profile (device storage): the name and title you use when joining studios.
• studio_background, studio_background_image (device storage): the camera background you picked in a studio, and your own background image. The image never leaves your device.
• studio_mirror_camera (device storage): whether you turned on Mirror for your camera in the studio.
• studio_camera_adjust (device storage): the picture adjustments (white balance, exposure, brightness and similar) you set for each camera in the studio.
• studio_denoise (device storage): whether you turned on Remove background noise for your microphone in the studio. The sound is processed on your device.
• studio_music_listen (device storage): whether you hear a studio's background music on this device.
• theme (device storage): your light or dark theme before your account settings load.
• system_check_passed (device storage): hides the system check reminder once done.

Turning preferences off deletes these from this device.
